Linton and Connie Cress, Owners

     It all started years ago, with a couple of AKC Registered beagles. Linton had caught the fever! Soon we were up to our ears in beagles. Small beagles, red english beagles, big male beagles, lemon beagles, tri color beagles, PUPPIES Everywhere!
     We finally decided that there had to be an easier way. So, we started raising beagles. That's when "Cress Kennels" was born. Busting at the seams or rather chain link fence, Cress Kennels housed over 70 beagles at one time. Bred, born, weaned and trained - we are very proud of our beagles.
     We started Cress's Sales and Mfg. about 10 years ago. After our herd of dogs, of course we needed dog supplies and lots of them. After searching for dog collars and leads only to come up empty handed, that's when we decided that if we couldn't find what we wanted, what about everyone else?? We set out to try and make dog collars and leads.
     We bought some material, buckles, a pull lever name plate machine, and rivets. We were set! We designed a collar in day-glo colors and we went to work. We piled the finished products into a

	card board box and hauled them off to an A.K.C. trial. We set up our tables and the customers liked our finished product. Next, we tried our products at an A.R.H.A. trial, and again our customers werepleased, and so were we. Next, we ventured out to the coon hunting events. And to our amazement, we were well accepted and on our way. It wasn't long after that we decided to become Tri-Tronics and Wildlife Dealers. That was the best thing that we have ever done. There is such a demand for these products that our business grew rapidly. We were bursting at the seams at this point so we decided to buy a trailer. We needed alot of modifications done to it and had only a short time to get it finished before field trialing weather was here. We worked day and night until we got it finished. And to this day Linton still comes up with a better idea about storage or where to put the machines. I guess you could say that we are still working on it! Well, that's it, that's how we got started. And now we would like to say a special "Thank You" to Tri-Tronics and the people who work there. Tri-Ttronics is a very "customer" oriented business. The customer comes first in any situation. 	drops in occasionally to touch base with us here at Cress's Sales. Mark just wants to see how things are going and if there is anything that Tri-Tronics can do for us. We would also like to say a special "Thank You" to Wildlife Materials Inc. Their systems are top of the line and have a first class warranty. All of the people who work there have been really good to support our business efforts. Whenever we need help, they are just a phone call away. Bridgette Welsh and the sales staff are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Last but not least, We would like to say "Thank You" to our daughter, Louanne Cress. She is the one who originally gathered all the information for the web page, designed it, and published it. Plus, she works part-time at the business for us, and on weekends at field trials. What more could a parent ask for?
